Antipodes Skincare Review 2018

Antipodes Skincare Review 2018

Today I received a gift from a skincare company called Antipodes. I tried the products that they had sent to me and decided to share my thoughts on the products in a blog post. Just incase you or someone you know is looking for new skincare products that actually work or if you are just curious about what the Antipodes products are like.

The company is based in New Zealand and Antipodes is one of only a few fully certified organic skincare companies in the world. Antipodes have a wide range of products, such as cleansers, face masks, moisturisers, serums to lipsticks and mineral foundations.

My thoughts on the products…

Halo Skin Brightening Facial Mud Mask:

The first thing I noticed when I opened the product was how good it smelt! Before applying the mud mask, my skin felt quite dry and was looking quite red in some areas. This mud mask applied really easily to my face using the small spatula that comes with the product. Providing a small utensil with the face mask I think is a great idea because it solves the issue of having to find something to apply the face mask with and I believe it is more hygienic. It took around 10-15 minutes for the mask to dry completely and it actually felt like it was doing something when it was drying as I do find that some face masks don’t feel like they are doing what they are supposed to do. Once I rinsed the mask off, my skin was left feeling VERY soft, smooth and hydrated. I love this face mask and I will definitely be using it again and this product is vegan which is awesome!

I also got given a pack of the ‘Skin Defence Minis‘ which include the products ‘Worship Skin Defence Antioxidant Serum‘ and the ‘Immortal SPF 15 Face & Body Moisturiser’:

The Worship Skin Defence Antioxidant Serum Mini comes in a 10ml bottle which is a great size for travelling with. This product is filled with healthy antioxidants that help prevent your skin from early ageing. It is used before you apply moisturiser to your skin and is suited to most skin types. The serum was easy to apply as you just gently rub it in to your skin. I really liked how it didn’t leave my face feeling oily and it felt like the serum had actually absorbed into my skin properly.

Now onto the Immortal SPF 15 Face and Body Moisturiser. This moisturiser can be a natural sun protecter to help protect your skin from sun exposure. A bonus is that this moisturiser doesn’t have any nasty synthetic chemicals in it because raspberry seed oil is a natural ingredient that takes care of and protects your skin from the sun. Another ingredient that is in this moisturiser is a super antioxidant that helps with decreasing the appearance of redness. I have found that after applying this moisturiser, it has resulted in my face feeling soft and hydrated.

I truly enjoyed using these products and I will be using all three of these products again! This post was an honest review even though the products were sent to me as a gift. ~
